Oh and don’t feel too bad because I incorporated delicious veggies in this dish like button mushrooms and dark leafy greens so it balances out the bacon, carbs and butter!

Shrimp and Bacon Pasta!

Gotta love carbs….am I right?! Believe me, I’m all about being healthy, eating right and having a balanced diet but put a plate of pasta in front of me and all bets are off. A really good, savory and salty pasta dish makes me a weak woman! My shrimp and bacon pasta recipe was created on a whim one night as I was trying to clean out the fridge.
The combination of flavors topped with Parmesan cheese in the end is so freaking good! Please try this! It is legit so easy to do once you have all the ingredients all prepped and ready to go. The secret is to make sure all the ingredients are laid out in front of you because once you start cooking, the process goes pretty quickly.
Make this shrimp and bacon pasta next time you have guests over. Serve it with a large, warm baguette (more carbs!) and your favorite bottle of wine and trust me, your guests wont stop eating and thanking you for it!
